Notting Hill House
This Grade II listed terraced house in Notting Hill, London, was designed and built in the mid 1840’s. Many of the interior features, such as the arched openings and ornate cornices are original and have been preserved and restored. We furnished the project with a mix of contemporary collectables, rare antiques and bespoke pieces, such as the sofa we commissioned from the late Vladimir Kagan.
We kept the wall finishes throughout the house in textured whites, adding accents of bright hues in the furniture and furnishings. We inversed this colour relationship in the dining room, where we created the brilliant green lacquer wall finish and a white and gold textured dining table.
The client’s love of marble was the impetus for the creation of a luxurious master bathroom and a striking kitchen island. We collaborated with artisans and expert craftspeople to feature this beautiful material to its maximum effect.
Refurbishing the master suite included a new fully bespoke dressing room with geometric panelling design. Contemporary artworks played an important role in the concept of the bedroom.
